Bourne Community College runs Able Student Days twice a term as part of the County wide able student program. The day runs from 9:00am to approximately 2:30pm with a short, usually working lunch. The course is held within one of the College's three fully equipped ICT suites, organised and taught by Dene Ellis; Head of ICT at Bourne Community College.
The students are introduced to many aspects of Website design and development and by the end of the day will have normally produced at least a three page website. Many students produce five pages and some even more. The theme of the website is left entirely to the individual, students bring along with them relevant material to place on their website.
